What a fun way to spend a beautiful summer evening! We had perfect weather, an awesome group of people, and plenty of fun, all while doing something great for our community.

Our third annual Cruise ’n’ Pack was held Monday, August 10, with 170 people joining us aboard the Avalon, a classic paddle-wheel riverboat from the Stillwater River Boats fleet. We cruised the river, enjoyed a delicious dinner, took in the scenery, and danced to ’80s favorites from Atomic Beat.

But the real action happened below deck! Everyone teamed up with their fellow “crew members” for a quick meal-packing session, and together we packed more than 22,000 Alfredo Primavera meals. Those meals were then delivered to local food shelves to help our neighbors in need.

That’s a lot of meals packed during one short cruise!

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a success. And a special shout-out to the crew, the team at Stillwater River Boats, and all of our amazing volunteers who kept everything running smoothly.

It was a great night of cruising, connecting, and giving back. Thanks for being part of it. And be sure to bring a friend next year! We’re already looking forward to making Cruise ’n’ Pack even bigger and better.
