Meet Board Member Cheryl Schmura
Cheryl Schmura knows a little something about the importance of a healthy food supply.
A few years ago, she retired from CHS Inc., a leading energy, grains, and foods company and the nation’s largest producer-owned cooperative. Before that, she served as vice president and chief financial officer for Agriliance, LLC, an agronomy marketing joint venture owned by CHS and Land O’Lakes. She also spent 25 years with 3M, holding various senior finance management and business development positions.
A native of the Twin Cities, Cheryl and her husband Joe live in Lake Elmo and have two adult children and four grandchildren that keep her very busy. But Cheryl is never too busy to help others. Even before retiring, Cheryl put her passion for service to work as a volunteer and board member for several organizations. She is highly active in the community and is especially interested in helping at-risk youth and providing for families in need.
Cheryl brings a wealth of experience and passion to our organization. We’re grateful and excited to have her energy and insights on our board, helping to guide Meals From The Heart to new heights!
