In one day, 31 teams from SuperValu and the SuperValu Foundation packed 101,196 meals to help stock local food shelves. But the real story is how much fun they had achieving this amazing total.

Last summer, we helped facilitate our first meal packing event at one of Medtronic’s offices in the Netherlands. This European event was our first outside of the U.S. and it went very well! Thank you to the nice folks at Medtronic for sponsoring it and volunteering at the event, we were able to pack thousands of meals for local food shelves in the Netherlands area.

There are a lot of great things that go on during a meal-packing event with Meals From The Heart, and there are plenty of great things that go on after, too. During the excitement of a meal-packing event, the prospect of thousands of meals being delivered to local food shelves is a great feeling to have. But after an event, people are changed in so many great ways.
