A Deluxe Roadshow!

When Deluxe realized how much impact their meal-packing event would have, they asked us to include more of their team. Of course, we said, “No problem.” When they mentioned that their teams were spread across the county, we again said, “No problem.” Then we went to work to make it happen. We hit the road after a little logistical planning (okay, a lot of logistical planning)! Four days in four cities in four states and hundreds of smiling faces later, it was a Roadshow to remember!

The Deluxe meal-packing roadshow took the Meals From The Heart teams to four Deluxe locations, including Atlanta, GA; Minneapolis, MN; Fort Worth, TX; and Lenexa, KS.

At our Minneapolis stop, NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves even got in on the fun. The team mascot, Crunch, and some Timberwolves staff members joined us. They even had special Timberwolves t-shirts printed up for the event.

In all, the Deluxe Roadshow packed over 119,000 meals. The meals were distributed locally to food shelves in the cities where they were packed.

And boy, was it ever fun!

Lucia, a Deluxe Senior Administrative Assistant from Lenexa, KS, summed it up nicely. “Thank you so much; you and your team are FANTASTIC! Everyone had a blast packing and were thrilled that everything we did, had a direct impact on our community. I got the best feedback from multiple people, and we can’t wait to do it again!”
